नभःस्पृशं दीप्तमनेकवर्णंव्यात्ताननं दीप्तविशालनेत्रम्‌ ।दृष्टवा हि त्वां प्रव्यथितान्तरात्मा धृतिं न विन्दामि शमं च विष्णो ॥

नभ:स्पृशं दीप्तमनेकवर्णं
व्यात्ताननं दीप्तविशालनेत्रम् |
दृष्ट्वा हि त्वां प्रव्यथितान्तरात्मा
धृतिं न विन्दामि शमं च विष्णो || 24||

nabhaḥ-spṛiśhaṁ dīptam aneka-varṇaṁ
vyāttānanaṁ dīpta-viśhāla-netram
dṛiṣhṭvā hi tvāṁ pravyathitāntar-ātmā
dhṛitiṁ na vindāmi śhamaṁ cha viṣhṇo

भावार्थ:

क्योंकि हे विष्णो! आकाश को स्पर्श करने वाले, दैदीप्यमान, अनेक वर्णों से युक्त तथा फैलाए हुए मुख और प्रकाशमान विशाल नेत्रों से युक्त आपको देखकर भयभीत अन्तःकरण वाला मैं धीरज और शान्ति नहीं पाता हूँ॥24॥

Translation

O Lord Vishnu, seeing your form touching the sky, effulgent in many colors, with mouths wide open and enormous blazing eyes, my heart is trembling with fear. I have lost all courage and peace of mind.
