यूँ रहती दूर नहीं,

मेरे नैन तरसते है,
रुकते नहीं पलभर भी,
दिन रात बरसते है,

लेनी है परीक्षा तो,
माँ और कोई ले ले,
गम तेरी जुदाई का,
हम कैसे बता झेले,
बच्चो को तड़पाना,
तेरा दस्तूर नहीं,
हम तो मजबूर है माँ,

बच्चों से कभी मैया।।
आजा मेरी मैया,
नहीं और सहा जाए,
जीवन का भरोसा क्या,
कही देर ना हो जाए,
