सुनी पड़ी है गोकुल की गलियां,
छलकर के चले गए,
गोपियों से छलिया,
कह गए परसो,
बिता दिए बरसो,
काहे बन गए निर्दइया,
बता दो उधो कब आएँगे कन्हैया,
बता दो उधो कब आएँगे कन्हैया।।
कण कण पत्ता पत्ता,
पूछे डाल डाल रे,
कहाँ गए श्याम सलोना,
दिल संग खेल गए,
किए ना खयाल रे,
जैसे कोई हम है खिलौना,
कदम्ब के डाल भी,
लगाए है आस जी,
कहाँ गए बंसी के बजैया,
बता दो उधो कब आएँगे कन्हैया,
बता दो उधो कब आएँगे कन्हैया।।
बिलख बिलख के,
पुकारे राधा रानी,
भर भर अँखियों में पानी,
एक पल भी दूर नहीं,
रहते थे हमसे,
कहे सब पहले की कहानी,
जमुना किनारे राह निहारे,
आके कब पकड़ेंगे बईया,
बता दो उधो कब आएँगे कन्हैया,
बता दो उधो कब आएँगे कन्हैया।।
सुनी पड़ी है गोकुल की गलियां,
छलकर के चले गए,
गोपियों से छलिया,
कह गए परसो,
