जब छोड़ चलु इस दुनिया को,
होठों पे नाम तुम्हारा हो,
चाहे स्वर्ग मिले या नर्क मिले,
ह्रदय में वास तुम्हारा हो।।
तर्ज अब सौंप दिया इस जीवन का।
तन श्याम नाम की चादर हो,
जब गहरी नींद में सोया रहूँ,
कानो में मेरे गुंजित हो,
कान्हा बस नाम तुम्हारा हो,
जब छोड़ चलु इस दुनिया को।।
रस्ते में तुम्हारा मंदिर हो,
जब मंजिल को प्रस्थान करूँ,
चौखट पे तेरी मनमोहन,
अंतिम प्रणाम हमारा हो,
जब छोड़ चलु इस दुनिया को।।
उस वक्त कन्हैया आ जाना,
जब चिता पे जाके शयन करूँ,
मेरे मुख में तुलसी दल देना,
इतना बस काम तुम्हारा हो,
जब छोड़ चलु इस दुनिया को।।
गर सेवा की मैंने तेरी,
तो उसका ये उपहार मिले,
इस हर्ष भगत का साँवरिये,
नहीं आना कभी भी दुबारा हो,
जब छोड़ चलु इस दुनिया को।।
जब छोड़ चलु इस दुनिया को,
होठों पे नाम तुम्हारा हो,
चाहे स्वर्ग मिले या नर्क मिले,
ह्रदय में वास तुम्हारा हो।।
