जिन हाथो को पकड़ के मैंने उठना चलना सिखा था,
जिनके सनेह से मेरा बचपन इतना सुंदर बीता था
जिनकी गोद में खेला करता पिता वो दूर हुए मुझे,
और दिल भर सा गया
इक आभास सा हुआ के जैसा पिता का साया पड़ा मुझ पर
पिता के प्रेम के ऋण को कोई चूका न पाए
पिता की सेवा से ही जीवन धन्य हो जाए,
नमन पिता को जिन्हों ने अपना नोछावर सब कर दिया,
और दिल भर सा गया ……
