कहाँ हाथ पकड़ोगे, दुनिया का बाबा,
जीने में भी तौबा और, मरने में भी तौबा।।
जरा कुछ भी बोलो तो, पागल कहेंगे,
कुछ ना कहो तो भी, लूटे चलेंगे,
दोनों तरफ से भी, होती है शोभा,
कहां हाथ पकडोगे, दुनिया का बाबा,
जीने में भी तौबा और, मरने में भी तौबा।।
पहनी हो माला तो, बोलेंगे ढोंगी,
खाली रहो तो वो, होता है भोगी,
सच्चे रहो तो वे, कर देंगे लम्बा,
कहां हाथ पकडोगे, दुनिया का बाबा,
जीने में भी तौबा और, मरने में भी तौबा।।
गाड़ी को जाता, चलती को गाडी,
निर्भय को शिरजोर, सीधा अनाडी,
सतियों को पागल, जारण को रम्भा,
कहां हाथ पकडोगे, दुनिया का बाबा,
जीने में भी तौबा और, मरने में भी तौबा।।
ऐसे जमाने को, किसने बनाया,
मुझको है लगता, यहीं पर है माया,
तुकड्या कहे उसको, तीरथ ना काबा,
