एक ने तुझको जनम दिया रे एक ने तुझको पाला ॥
मरने के डर से भेज दिया घर से देवकी ने गोकुल में,
बिना दिए जन्म यशोदा बनी माता तुझ को छिपाया आंचल में ।
एक ने तुझको जीवन दिया रे एक न जीवन संवारा…कन्हैया ॥
मानी मनताएँ और देवी देव पूजे पीर सही देवकी ने,
गोद मे खिलाने का दूध मे नहलाने का सुख पाया यशोदा जी ने ।
एक ने तुझको दी है रे आँखें,एक ने दिया उजाला… कन्हैया ।।
जनम दिया हो चाहे पाला हो किसी ने भेद ये ममता न जाने,
कोई भी हो जिसने दिया हो प्यार माँ का मन तो माँ उसी को माने ।
एक ने तुझको जीवन दिया रे एक न जीवन संवारा…कन्हैया ॥

kanhaiyā kisakō kahēgā tū maiyā ।
ēka nē tujhakō janama diyā rē ēka nē tujhakō pālā ॥
maranē kē ḍara sē bhēja diyā ghara sē dēvakī nē gōkula mēṃ,
binā diē janma yaśōdā banī mātā tujha kō छipāyā āṃcala mēṃ ।
ēka nē tujhakō jīvana diyā rē ēka na jīvana saṃvārā…kanhaiyā ॥
mānī manatāē[ann] aura dēvī dēva pūjē pīra sahī dēvakī nē,
gōda mē khilānē kā dūdha mē nahalānē kā sukha pāyā yaśōdā jī nē ।
ēka nē tujhakō dī hai rē ā[ann]khēṃ,ēka nē diyā ujālā… kanhaiyā ।।
janama diyā hō cāhē pālā hō kisī nē bhēda yē mamatā na jānē,
kōī bhī hō jisanē diyā hō pyāra mā[ann] kā mana tō mā[ann] usī kō mānē ।
ēka nē tujhakō jīvana diyā rē ēka na jīvana saṃvārā…kanhaiyā ॥
