जमुना के तट पर,
मारी नजरिया ऐसी सांवरिया ने,
घायल हो गई पल में,
गजरा गिर गया जमुना जल में,
की गजरा गिर गया जमुना जल में।।
लेने गगरिया गई थी बजरिया,
बजरिया में मिल गया वो,
बांके सांवरिया,
गगरी मेरी छीन के उसने,
बईया मरोड़ी,
बईया यूँ मरोड़ के पूछे,
क्या मर्जी है तेरी,
फिर ऐसे मैं शरमाई,
निकला वो तो हरजाई,
चली गई एक पल में,
की गजरा गिर गया जमुना जल में।।
प्रीत में उसके ऐसे खोयी,
ना में जागी ना में सोई,
मेरा आँचल पायल काजल,
तीनो कर गया घायल,
थर थर कांपे मेरी काया,
डोल रहा मन पागल,
फिर काटे कटे ना वो रैना,
बेरी छीन के ले गयो चैना,
चली गई एक पल में,
की गजरा गिर गया जमुना जल में।।
जमुना के तट पर,
मारी नजरिया ऐसी सांवरिया ने,
घायल हो गई पल में,
गजरा गिर गया जमुना जल में,
की गजरा गिर गया जमुना जल में।।
