Aadhi Jambunathar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located at Thiruvellarai in Trichy District of Tamilnadu. The Temple is also called as Vada Jambunathar Temple. Aadhi Jambunathar Temple where Jambukeswarar blessed the Jambhu Rishi who was not able to walk to Thiruvanaikoil for a Darshan. This is a Pallava period cave temple situated in a beautiful location and is located very near to Thiruvellarai Divya Desam.
Both Shiva and Perumal are carved side by side on the right with Shiva Linga shrine in the middle with Jambhu Rishi and Bhairavar on the left. Navagraha Darshan also can be had inside the cave shrine. Shrines for Akilandeswari, Vinayaka and Subramanya are outside the cave.

The Temple is located at about 800 meters from Thiruvellarai Bus Stop, 1 Km from Thiruvellarai Divya Desam, 5 Kms from Thiruppainjeeli, 7 Kms from Manachanallur, 12 Kms from Thiruvasi, 15 Kms from Srirangam, 16 Kms from Thiruvanaikoil and 23 Kms from Trichy. Nearest Railway Stations are located at Uthamar Kovil (12 Kms) and Trichy (26 Kms). Nearest Airport is located at Trichy (27 Kms).
