यत: प्रवृत्तिर्भूतानां येन सर्वमिदं ततम् |
स्वकर्मणा तमभ्यर्च्य सिद्धिं विन्दति मानव: ||
yataḥ pravṛittir bhūtānāṁ yena sarvam idaṁ tatam
sva-karmaṇā tam abhyarchya siddhiṁ vindati mānavaḥ
भावार्थ:
जिस परमेश्वर से संपूर्ण प्राणियों की उत्पत्ति हुई है और जिससे यह समस्त जगत् व्याप्त है (जैसे बर्फ जल से व्याप्त है, वैसे ही संपूर्ण संसार सच्चिदानंदघन परमात्मा से व्याप्त है), उस परमेश्वर की अपने स्वाभाविक कर्मों द्वारा पूजा करके (जैसे पतिव्रता स्त्री पति को सर्वस्व समझकर पति का चिंतन करती हुई पति के आज्ञानुसार पति के ही लिए मन, वाणी, शरीर से कर्म करती है, वैसे ही परमेश्वर को ही सर्वस्व समझकर परमेश्वर का चिंतन करते हुए परमेश्वर की आज्ञा के अनुसार मन, वाणी और शरीर से परमेश्वर के ही लिए स्वाभाविक कर्तव्य कर्म का आचरण करना ‘कर्म द्वारा परमेश्वर को पूजना’ है) मनुष्य परमसिद्धि को प्राप्त हो जाता है॥46॥
Translation
By performing one’s natural occupation, one worships the Creator from whom all living entities have come into being, and by whom the whole universe is pervaded. By such performance of work, a person easily attains perfection.

18.46 Manavah, a human being; vindati, achieves; siddhim, success, merely in the form of the ability for steadfastness in Knowledge; abhyarcya, by adoring, worshipping; svakarmana, with his own duties stated above, as allotted to each caste; tam, Him, God; yatah, from whom, from which God; comes pravrttih, origin,-or, from which internal Ruler comes the activities; ;bhutanam, of creatures, of living beings; and yena, by whom, by which God; is tatam, pervaded; sarvam, all; idam, this world.
