चिठिया ले जा ऊधो,
जा के कहियो कन्हैया से,
बिरहा सहा नही जाए।।
कैसी है निगोड़ी मेरी,
हाथ की ये रेखा,
रूठे जो कन्हैया फिर,
मुड़के न देखा,
कदम के डार पे,
खिलता नही है फूल,
वृंदावन के गलियों में,
मिलता नही है धूल,
पतिया ले जा ऊधो,
जा के कहियो कन्हैया से,
बिरहा सहा नही जाए।।
कौन चुराए माखन मोरा,
तेरे बिना लगे मोहन,
जीवन ये कोरा,
कौन फोड़ेगा मेरी,
जल की ये मटकी,
निकसे न तन से प्राण,
क्यों ये जान अटकी,
पतिया ले जा ऊधो,
जा के कहियो कन्हैया से,
बिरहा सहा नही जाए।।
ऊधो जा के कहना,
हम कुछ न कहेंगे,
रूठे जो कन्हैया तो फिर,
रूठने न देंगे,
झूठ भी कहेगा उसे,
सच मान लेंगे,
अब न यशोदा से,
चुगली करेंगे,
पतिया ले जा ऊधो,
जा के कहियो कन्हैया से,
बिरहा सहा नही जाए।।
