Paalaazhi  maathu  than paani thazhukum,

Pannaga  SAyana  padha navanam manam

Thumburu Narada  yathi varya dhayanam-SAnkhu ,

Chakra  Gadhaa  Padma  Dhamam   Dharani bruthe

My  mind prays   to the feet of he who sleeps on the snake ,

Whose   hand hugs    lady who arose   from ocean of milk,

And it meditates  on sages THumburu and Narada, Oh Lord,

Who protects the earth   and has conch  , wheel ,mace   and lotus.

AAzhiyil  aadhi vedangal   naalum,

Hayagreeva   thaskaram   Paalaayanam,

Vaisaarinam   aadhyavathaaram  -yudhi  ,

Rakshakam   vayunam   hiranyaasuram,

Karmamaayi  koormamay   Mandhara  giri   roham,

Mathaakki   amrutheki padmanabhan.

In the olden times  the four Vedas ,

Were stolen by  Hayagreeva  who ran awau,

And you took the first incarnation of fish-and,

Protected them  by war    with Jiranyasura  .

As a dutu he became tortoise    and  kept,

The Mandara mountain on his back  as a churner,

And  that Padmanabha   gave nectar  to devas.

Vanditham varaaha roopavatharam  -yogi,

Hiranyaaksha   tharanan  mama vandhe,

Prahladha dhyanam narahari jananam,

Hiranya kasipuvin naasam Vasaraantham,

Aham  yenna bhavam nirubhyam  Mahabali,

Patala vasitha karanan  Vaamanan.

I salute   the incarnation as a boar   wjho ,

Killed  Hiranyaksha   and  I salute  him,

Due to Prahladhas  meditation came   the man l;ion,

And in the  end of the day   Hiranya  Kasipu was  killed,

Mahabali without    any fear    was very egoistic ,

And the reason for his living  in Patala  in Vamana.

Kaartha veerya  Veeryam  nimeelanam  BHargava-

Charitham   kelkkukil    dhanyoham,

Mousalamaayudham   prabalaasura  Radham ,

Dwapara  varkaraatam  Bala  Raman,

Hanumth hrudaya   vasa  kaaranam   Kaarana  purushan,

Ravana  nimadhanam   Sri Rama  Janmam.

WE would  be blessed   if we hear  the Story of Bharghava ,

Who comletly uprooted the  valour of Karthaveeryarjuna,

With a  weapon of plough   Prabhalasura    was killed ,

By    the great king   called Balarama .

Due to the heartfelt   service of Hanuman , The man of the cause,

Rama was   born for   killing   Ravana

Go paripalanam, Kamsaadhi ripu   Hatham .

Govinda naamam manasaa  smaraami  ,

Kali yuga dharmam  nindhitham  Rakshanan,

Kalkiyai   yethidum   theerkkum  chandrikanganam.

I meditate  on the name   Govinda  .

Who looked after   the cows  and killed   enemies like Kamsa.

The Dharma   Kali age  is desptcable   and to protect ,

He would reach as Kalki and this   would end the incarnations
