लिपट गया चरणों से फुट फुट कर रोया
मुश्का कर होले होले मेरे आंसू पौंछ के बोले,

श्याम प्रभु ने बोलै मेरी शरण जो आया,
हार नहीं वो सकता तू काहे गबराया,
जिसको मैंने अपनाया उस पर है मेरी छाया,
मैं हु ना क्यों चिंता करता है ….
श्याम की बाते सुन कर भूल गया गम सारे,
ऐसा लगा की मेरा फिर से जन्म हुआ रे,
किया उनकी और इशारा सोनू दिल से ये पुकारा,
तू है ना फ़िक्र मुझको क्या है,
मैं हु न क्यों चिंता करता है…

ika rāta maiṃ dukhī hōkē sō gayā thā rōtē rōtē,
sapanē mēṃ śyāma nē ākara kahā mujhakō galē lagā kara,
maiṃ hu na kyōṃ ciṃtā karatā hai mērē hōtē kyōṃ ḍaratā hai.
śyāma kō maiṃnē dēkhā dhīraja apanā khōyā,
lipaṭa gayā caraṇōṃ sē phuṭa phuṭa kara rōyā
muśkā kara hōlē hōlē mērē āṃsū pauṃछ kē bōlē,
maiṃ hu na kyōṃ ciṃtā karatā hai mērē hōtē kyōṃ ḍaratā hai.
śyāma prabhu nē bōlai mērī śaraṇa jō āyā,
hāra nahīṃ vō sakatā tū kāhē gabarāyā,
jisakō maiṃnē apanāyā usa para hai mērī छāyā,
maiṃ hu nā kyōṃ ciṃtā karatā hai ….
śyāma kī bātē suna kara bhūla gayā gama sārē,
aisā lagā kī mērā phira sē janma huā rē,
kiyā unakī aura iśārā sōnū dila sē yē pukārā,
