घर की जरूरतों ने,
मुसाफिर बना दिया।।
दोहा रस्ते भर रो रो कर पूछा,
हमसे पांव के छालों ने,
बस्ती कितनी दूर बसा ली,
दिल में बसने वालों ने।
चाहा था जिसको टूट कर,
वह आखिर चला गया,
इस दिल से मोहब्बत का,
मुसाफिर चला गया।
बेरंग है आज तक,
वह तस्वीर प्यार की,
पूरा किए बगैर,
मुसव्विर चला गया।
फिकरों ने रंग चेहरे का,
मेरे उड़ा दिया,
घर की जरूरतों ने,
मुसाफिर बना दिया।।
धोखा दिया फरेब किया,
दिल चुरा लिया,
उसने मेरी वफाओं का,
ऐसा सिला दिया।।
दुश्मन ने मुझको देखकर,
खंजर उठा लिया,
मुझको तो मेरी मां की,
दुआ ने बचा लिया।।
मैंने कहा था उनसे,
जलाने को एक चिराग,
उसने इसी बहाने,
मेरा घर जला दिया।।
फिकरों ने रंग चेहरे का,
मेरे उड़ा दिया,
घर की जरूरतो ने,
मुसाफिर बना दिया।।
