हर रात, मुझे सपनों में मिलने,खाटुवाला आता है,
मै देख उसे मुसकाता हुं, वो देख मुझे मुसकाता है
मै सोता हुं, वो आता है, हौले से मुझे जगाता है,
बैठा कर, मुझको लीले पर, खाटु की सैर कराता है,
खाटु का हर चप्पा चप्पा,रोशन हो जग मगाता है
हर रात ……
मन्दिर की सीढ़ी चढ़ता हुं, खाटु के राजा के संग में,
दरबार अनोखा देख के मैं, खो जाता हुं उसके रंग में,
खाटुवाला अपने हाथों से, छप्पन भोग खिलाता है
हर रात …..
हम बातों मे लग जाते हैं, सुबहा जल्दी हो जाती है,
‘बिट्टु’ और श्याम वो प्रेमी हैं, इक दिया है तो इक बाती है,
वापस घर आने के पहले, वो मुझको गले लगाता है
हर रात …..
