 Lord Shiva was describing the various sacred Teerths (Ponds), Koop (Wells) and places of worship in Kashi. Lord Shiva described such places with delight (Kashi Khand, Chapter 97).In the vicinity of Daksheshwar is the Hasti Paleshwar Ling. Worshipping this Ling is equivalent to worshipping an Elephant. Here the devotee may regard this as Elephant God.
