घनघोर घटा ने की बरसात,
टोकरी उठा वसुदेव चले,
सोए जिसमे बंसी वाले थे,

जब उतरे यमुना के जल में,
लहरें थी उठी छूने को चरण,
वर्षा से बचाने शेषनाग,
बन छतरी छाने वाले थे,
जन्में श्री कृष्ण कन्हैया जब,

यशोदा के संग बालक को लिटा,
उसकी बिटिया संग लेके चले,
फिर जल्दी लौटे जेल में वो,
होने को आए उजाले थे,

नंदलाला के आने की खबर,
सुन दर्श को आए नर नारी,
अब कंस के जीवन के सारे,
दिन पूरे होने वाले थे,
