आज पुकार करे तेरी गइयाँ आके कंठ लगाओ रे,

जिनको मैंने दूध पिलाया वो ही मुझे सताते है,
चीयर फाड़ कर मेरे बेटे मेरा ही मॉस विकाते है,
अपनों के अभिशाप से मुझको आके आज बचाओ रे,
कलयुग में एक बार कन्हियाँ ग्वाल बन कर आओ रे
चाबुक से जब पीटी जाओ सेहन नहीं कर पाती मैं,
उबला पानी तन पर फेके हाय हाय चिलाती मैं,
बिना काल मैं तिल तिल मरती करुणा जरा दिखाओ रे,
कलयुग में एक बार कन्हियाँ ग्वाल बन कर आओ रे
काहे हम को मूक बनाया घुट घुट कर यु मरने को,
उस पर हाथ दिए न तूने अपनी रक्षा करने को,
भटक गई संतान हमारी रास्ता आन दिखाओ रे,
कलयुग में एक बार कन्हियाँ ग्वाल बन कर आओ रे
एक तरफ तो वशडे मेरे अन धन को उपजाते है,
उसी अन को खाने वाले मेरा वध करवाते है,
हर्ष जरा तुम माँ के वध पे आके रोक लगाओ रे,

kalayuga mēṃ ēka bāra kanhiyā[ann] gvāla bana kara āō rē,
āja pukāra karē tērī gaiyā[ann] ākē kaṃṭha lagāō rē,
kalayuga mēṃ ēka bāra kanhiyā[ann] gvāla bana kara āō rē
jinakō maiṃnē dūdha pilāyā vō hī mujhē satātē hai,
cīyara phāḍha kara mērē bēṭē mērā hī mǣsa vikātē hai,
apanōṃ kē abhiśāpa sē mujhakō ākē āja bacāō rē,
kalayuga mēṃ ēka bāra kanhiyā[ann] gvāla bana kara āō rē
cābuka sē jaba pīṭī jāō sēhana nahīṃ kara pātī maiṃ,
ubalā pānī tana para phēkē hāya hāya cilātī maiṃ,
binā kāla maiṃ tila tila maratī karuṇā jarā dikhāō rē,
kalayuga mēṃ ēka bāra kanhiyā[ann] gvāla bana kara āō rē
kāhē hama kō mūka banāyā ghuṭa ghuṭa kara yu maranē kō,
usa para hātha diē na tūnē apanī rakṣā karanē kō,
bhaṭaka gaī saṃtāna hamārī rāstā āna dikhāō rē,
kalayuga mēṃ ēka bāra kanhiyā[ann] gvāla bana kara āō rē
ēka tarapha tō vaśaḍē mērē ana dhana kō upajātē hai,
usī ana kō khānē vālē mērā vadha karavātē hai,
