जब से श्याम ने थामा मेरा हाथ कोई न रहता ये रहता है साथ,
जीवन में खुशिया ही खुशियां है बन जाती है बिगड़ी हुई हर बात,

khāṭū vālā hai hama jaisē dīnō kā adhāra,
āṃsū ā[ann]khōṃ kē pauṃछē karatā hai pyāra,
calatē calatē jaba gira jātā hu bāṃha pakaḍha kara mujhē uṭhatā hai,
mērā hō kara kyōṃ gabarātē hai aisā kaha kara dhīra bāṃdhatā hai,
apanōṃ sē jayadā ciṃtā karatā dulāra,
khāṭū vālā hai hama jaisē dīnō kā adhāra,
dukhiyō kē duḥkha karatā hai yē dūra pyāra luṭātā prēmī pē bharapūra,
hāra bhakta kī inakō na maṃjūra isī liē hai duniyā mēṃ maśahūra,
hārē kā sāthī bana kē naiyā kā mājhī bana kē karatā udhāra,
khāṭū vālā hai hama jaisē dīnō kā adhāra
jaba sē śyāma nē thāmā mērā hātha kōī na rahatā yē rahatā hai sātha,
jīvana mēṃ khuśiyā hī khuśiyāṃ hai bana jātī hai bigaḍhī huī hara bāta,
mōhita isa jaga kī aba na mujhakō darakāra,
