Kunjal Mata Temple is known as the Kuldevi temple of the village which is named as Deh and previously known as Champawat. And it is believed that the existence Mother Goddess was reveled in the year 1089 AD. There are many stories about this temple is heard and that is why according to the local people it is said that the temple was previously just a stone platform and it the temple was built latterly by the people of the local area.
