माँ बाप से बढ़कर जग में,
कोई दूजा नहीं खजाना,
जिसने तुझे जनम दिया है,
दिल उनका नहीं दुखाना।।
पहले तो माँ ने तुझको,
नौ महीने पेट में ढोया,
सीने का खून पिलाया,
तू जब जब बन्दे रोया,
बड़ा कर्ज है तुझ पर माँ का,
तेरा धर्म है कर्ज चुकाना,
जिसने तुझे जनम दिया है,
दिल उनका नहीं दुखाना।।
दिन रात तुझे तेरी माँ ने,
बाहों में अरे झुलाया,
खुद गीले में माँ सोई,
सूखे में तुझे सुलाया,
तू कोई भी दुःख देकर,
ना माँ को कभी रुलाना,
जिसने तुझे जनम दिया है,
दिल उनका नहीं दुखाना।।
माँ बाप कि शरण से बढ़कर,
कोई स्वर्ग नहीं है दूजा,
सब छोड़ के तीरथ बन्दे,
कर ले माँ बाप कि पूजा,
इस जन्म मरण से तुझको,
अरे गर है मुक्ति पाना,
जिसने तुझे जनम दिया है,
दिल उनका नहीं दुखाना।।
माँ बाप से बढ़कर जग में,
कोई दूजा नहीं खजाना,
