मेरी लाज बचाई,
बिछड़े कभी ना हम,
बस तेरे दर से,
दया का हाथ रहे,
इस दास के सर पे।
जब भी मैं हारा,
आके कन्हाई मेरी लाज बचाईं,
दुःख की घडी में,
पोंछ के आंसू मेरी लाज बचाईं,
दया तूने मोपे मेरे श्याम दिखाई,
मेरी लाज बचाईं।।
तर्ज लम्बी जुदाई।
गर्दिश में अपनों ने,
मुखड़ा जो मोड़ा,
तूने ही थामा मेरा,
हाथ ना छोड़ा,
कसके यूँ तूने मेरी पकड़ी कलाई,
मेरी लाज बचाईं।।
भूल ना पाऊं मेरा,
गुजरा ज़माना,
तूने शरण में बाबा,
दिया था ठिकाना,
जीवन जियूं मैं कैसे कला ये सिखाई,
मेरी लाज बचाईं।।
गिन भी ना पाऊं दानी,
उपकार तेरे,
दुखड़े मिटाये तूने,
हर बार मेरे,
मोर की छड़ी मेरे सर पे घुमाई,
मेरी लाज बचाईं।।
शब्दों में कर ना पाऊं,
शुक्राना तेरा,
आंसू ये हर्ष के हैं,
नज़राना तेरा,
आंसुओं पे मेरे तूने दया जो दिखाई,
मेरी लाज बचाईं।।
जब भी मैं हारा,
