इसी बहाने श्याम तिहारे,

श्याम बने जो बंसी बजैया,
मुरली मैं बन जाऊं,
अधरों पर सज करके मोहन,
प्रेम की राग सुनाऊं,
रूप जों मेरे श्याम को भावे,
रूप वही मैं पाऊं,
इसी बहाने श्याम तिहारे,
प्रेम को मैं पा जाऊं।।
श्याम बने जो धेनु चरैया,
गैया मैं बन जाऊं,
वन वन घुमु श्याम के संग,
गोकुल में बस जाऊ,
रूप जों मेरे श्याम को भावे,
रूप वही मैं पाऊं,
इसी बहाने श्याम तिहारे,
प्रेम को मैं पा जाऊं।।
श्याम बने जो रास रचैया,
गोपी मैं बन जाऊ,
नाचूँ गाउ मोहन के संग,
प्रेम सुधा मैं पाऊ,
रूप जों मेरे श्याम को भावे,
रूप वही मैं पाऊं,
इसी बहाने श्याम तिहारे,
प्रेम को मैं पा जाऊं।।
श्याम बने जो कमली वाला,
कमली मैं बन जाऊं,
काले के रंग रंग कर ‘पूजा’,
काली कमली कहाउँ,
रूप जों मेरे श्याम को भावे,
रूप वही मैं पाऊं,
इसी बहाने श्याम तिहारे,
प्रेम को मैं पा जाऊं।।
