छōḍha jānē dē aba taka huā jō huā,
śyāma kō hara kamī tērī maṃjūra hai,
rāta bhara thā sirahānē vō baiṭhā huā,
tujhē lagatā thā tujhasē bahuta dūra hai,
bandē aba छōḍha dē hara baḍhī,
śyāma bhajalē ghaḍī dō ghaḍī,
jīta jāyēgā tū hara kadama para isakī nazarē jō tujhapē paḍhī,

tērē bhajanō kā gā na sakē aisī vāṇī kā kyā phāyadā,
