दोहा चाहे छुट जाये ज़माना,
या माल-ओ-जर छूटे,
ये महल और अटारी,
या मेरा घर छूटे,
पर कहता है ये लख्खा,
ऐ मेरी माता,
सब जगत छूटे,
पर तेरा ना द्वार छूटे।
तेरे दर को मै छोड़ कहाँ जाऊँ,
माँ दूजा कोई द्वार ना दिखे,
अपना दुखडा मै किसको सुनाऊँ,
माँ दूजा कोई द्वार ना दिखे।।
इक आस मुझे तुमसे है मैया,
टूटे कहीं ना विश्वास मेरा मैया,
तेरे सिवा कहाँ झोली फ़ेलाऊ,
माँ दूजा कोई द्वार ना दिखे।।
तेरे आगे मेने दामन पसारा है,
मुझको ए मैया तेरा ही सहारा है,
कहाँ जाऊँ जहाँ जाके कुछ पाऊ,
माँ दूजा कोई द्वार ना दिखे।।
लख्खा आया मैया बन के सवाली है,
तेरे दर से गया ना कोई खाली है,
केसे गीत मै निराश होके गाऊँ,
माँ दूजा कोई द्वार ना दिखे।।
