विद्या की देवी तू दानी महान,
तेरे ही गुण गाये सारा जहान,
हंस की सवारी है माँ शारदे,
अम्बे तू भवानी है माँ शारदे……
हे जगदम्बे मैया मोहे वीणा की तान सुना दो,
द्वार खड़ा हूँ तेरे मोहे कोई तो राग सुना दो,
राग कोई सुना दो मैया,
रागों की महारानी है माँ शारदे……..
सरस्वती महारानी मोहे स्वरों का ज्ञान सिखा दो,
पार्वती हे मैया अपनी शक्ति का जलवा दिखा दो,
ज्ञान तूने वेदों में लिखा,
ब्रह्मा की पटरानी है माँ शारदे……..
ताल सुर न जानू मेरी लाज़ बचा लो ओ मैया,
बीच मझधार फसा हूँ मेरी पार लगा दो माँ नैया,
साथ मेरा निभा दो मैया,
महिमा तेरी गनी है माँ शारदे…..

sarasvatI mahArAnI mohe svaroM kA j~nAna sikhA do,
pArvatI he maiyA apanI shakti kA jalavA dikhA do,
j~nAna tUne vedoM meM likhA,
brahmA kI paTarAnI hai mA.N shArade……..
tAla sura na jAnU merI lAja़ bachA lo o maiyA,
bIcha majhadhAra phasA hU.N merI pAra lagA do mA.N naiyA,
