खुदगर्ज़ियों ने ये क्या कर दिया,
कि दाता को तूने भुला ही दिया,
जन्म ये तेरा खास है , ये मंहगे तेरे साँस हैं
सारा ये झूठा रास है , समय ना तेरे पास है
सो गया अब तो ये धोखा होगा. . .
साँस आती है तेरी साँस जाती है तेरी,
बिना माँगे ही ये चलती है ना होती देरी,
साँस आती है तो आने का कुछ सबब होगा,
दी है जिसने वो तो रब ही होगा,
उसके आगे भी तूं तलब होगा,
तूने खोया है समाँ और ना वक्त गवाँ,
देगा दाता से मिला ऐसे मुरशद को मना,
वक्त होने या ना होने से भी तो क्या होगा,
जीते जी मे ही ये फैंसला होगा,
