Nartiang Durga Temple is one of the famous 51 Shakti Peethas. In this holy place Shakthis’s (Goddess Sati) left thigh fell down. It is an historic and holy place for the devotees Shakti cult of Hinduism. It is believed to have completed 600 years. Umpteen pilgrims and tourists visit this temple are of Pnar origin. It is also said that human slaughtering were practiced in this temple, dates back.
