This popular Kali Temple is situated at Babedpara in Meghalaya. This is another very old and sacred temple in the state of Meghalaya. A large number of devotees visit this temple every day; The biggest annual festival celebrated here is Kali Puja during deepawali. The Matri Mandir has been dedicated to Goddess Kali. However, the temple is as old as 1000 years and was destroyed by Pakistan army.
