Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 18, Verse 29

1 बुद्धेर्भेदं धृतेश्चैव गुणतस्त्रिविधं शृणु |
2 प्रोच्यमानमशेषेण पृथक्त्वेन धनञ्जय ||

बुद्धेर्भेदं धृतेश्चैव गुणतस्त्रिविधं शृणु |

प्रोच्यमानमशेषेण पृथक्त्वेन धनञ्जय ||

buddher bhedaṁ dhṛiteśh chaiva guṇatas tri-vidhaṁ śhṛiṇu
prochyamānam aśheṣheṇa pṛithaktvena dhanañjaya

भावार्थ:

हे धनंजय ! अब तू बुद्धि का और धृति का भी गुणों के अनुसार तीन प्रकार का भेद मेरे द्वारा सम्पूर्णता से विभागपूर्वक कहा जाने वाला सुन॥

Translation

Hear now, O Arjun, of the distinctions of intellect and determination, according to the three modes of material nature, as I describe them in detail.

18.29 O Dhananjaya, srnu, listen; bhedam, to the classification; buddheh, of the intellect; ca eva, as also; the classification dhrteh, of fortitude; trividham, which is threefold; gunatah, according to the gunas, sattva etc. -this much is an apporistic statement-; procyamanam, while it is being stated; asesena, elaborately, just as it is, without omitting anything; and prthaktvena, severally.

Arjuna is called Dhananjaya because, in the course of his expedition to coner all the qaurters. he won immense human and divine wealth (dhana).
