Veerapandi Gowmariamman temple:
Gowmariamman temple, a 14 th Century Temple built by king Veerapandi of Pandya Dynasty is the famous temple here. It is believed that the king got back his lost sight after sincere and devoted prayer to Gowmariamman and Kanneeswara-mudaiyar.
