राम देखे सिया को सिया राम को,
चारो अँखिआ लड़ी की लड़ी रह गयी ॥
यज्ञ रक्षा में जा कर के मुनिवर के संग,
ले धनुष दानवो को लगे काटने ।
एक ही बाण में ताड़का राक्षसी,
गिर जमी पर पड़ी की पड़ी रह गयी ॥
राम को मन के मंदिर में अस्थान दे
कर लगी सोचने मन में यह जानकी ।
तोड़ पाएंगे कैसे यह धनुष कुंवर,
मन में चिंता बड़ी की बड़ी रह गयी ॥
विश्व के सारे राजा जनकपुर में जब,
शिव धनुष तोड़ पाने में असफल हुए ।
तब श्री राम ने तोडा को दंड को,
सब की आँखे बड़ी की बड़ी रह गयी ॥
तीन दिन तक तपस्या की रघुवीर ने,
सिंधु जाने का रास्ता न उनको दिया ।
ले धनुष राम जी ने की जब गर्जना,

ek hee baan mein taadaka raakshasee,
gir jamee par padee kee padee rah gayee .
raam ko man ke mandir mein asthaan de
kar lagee sochane man mein yah jaanakee .
tod paenge kaise yah dhanush kunvar,
man mein chinta badee kee badee rah gayee .
vishv ke saare raaja janakapur mein jab,
shiv dhanush tod paane mein asaphal hue .
tab shree raam ne toda ko dand ko,
sab kee aankhe badee kee badee rah gayee .
teen din tak tapasya kee raghuveer ne,
sindhu jaane ka raasta na unako diya .
le dhanush raam jee ne kee jab garjana,
