जब से गोकुल पहुंचाए,
मेरे कुंवर गए जा दिन से,
मैंने दर्शन तक ना पाए,
जाने कैसे राखत होएगी,
वा रो राजकुमार,
लाल मेरो रोवत होयगो,
के भूखो सोवत होयगो।।
कन्या ले के यशोदा की,
मेरी गोदी में ला डारी,
वा कंस दुष्ट ने आ के,
वो पत्थर पे दे मारी,
सुनी गोद ये मेरी हो गई,
रह गई मैं मन मार,
लाल मेरो रोवत होयगो,
के भूखो सोवत होयगो।।
ये कंस है गयो बैरी,
मेरे सात पुत्र मरवाए,
लयो बदलो कौन जनम को,
हम जेलन में दुःख पाएं,
हाथ हथकड़ी पाँवन बेड़ी,
है जेल के बंद किवाड़,
लाल मेरो रोवत होयगो,
के भूखो सोवत होयगो।।
मैं कैसे पतों लगाऊं,
कोई ना है पास हमारे,
कोई बता दे आके,
लग रहे जेल के ताले,
फाटक बंद जेल के हो रहे,
ठाड़े पहरेदार,
लाल मेरो रोवत होयगो,
