बिना डोर के पतंग तुम्हारी मेरा श्याम उड़ाए गा,

किसी सेठ की करे नौकरी तुझे तरकी क्या देगा,
चाकर बन जा सेठ श्याम का दामन तेरा भर देगा,
चपड़ासी से सीधे प्यारे अवसर तू बन जायेगा,

इक फते की बात बताओ इसको जो कोई ध्याता है,
श्याम धनी की किरपा से इसका हो के रह जाता है,
जीवन भर फिर मेरा बाबा उसका साथ निभाएगा,
