इन्द्रियाणि प्रमाथीनि हरन्ति प्रसभं मन: || 60||

yatato hyapi kaunteya puruṣhasya vipaśhchitaḥ
indriyāṇi pramāthīni haranti prasabhaṁ manaḥ

भावार्थ:

हे अर्जुन! आसक्ति का नाश न होने के कारण ये प्रमथन स्वभाव वाली इन्द्रियाँ यत्न करते हुए बुद्धिमान पुरुष के मन को भी बलात्‌ हर लेती हैं॥60॥

Translation

The senses are so strong and turbulent, O son of Kunti, that they can forcibly carry away the mind even of a person endowed with discrimination and practicing self-control.
