संन्यास: कर्मयोगश्च नि:श्रेयसकरावुभौ |
तयोस्तु कर्मसंन्यासात्कर्मयोगो विशिष्यते || 2||
śhrī bhagavān uvācha
sannyāsaḥ karma-yogaśh cha niḥśhreyasa-karāvubhau
tayos tu karma-sannyāsāt karma-yogo viśhiṣhyate

भावार्थ:
श्री भगवान बोले- कर्म संन्यास और कर्मयोग- ये दोनों ही परम कल्याण के करने वाले हैं, परन्तु उन दोनों में भी कर्म संन्यास से कर्मयोग साधन में सुगम होने से श्रेष्ठ है॥2॥
Translation
The Supreme Lord said: Both the path of karm sanyās (renunciation of actions) and karm yog (working in devotion) lead to the supreme goal. But karm yog is superior to karm sanyās.
