आर्तो जिज्ञासुरर्थार्थी ज्ञानी च भरतर्षभ || 16||
chatur-vidhā bhajante māṁ janāḥ sukṛitino ’rjuna

भावार्थ:
हे भरतवंशियों में श्रेष्ठ अर्जुन! उत्तम कर्म करने वाले अर्थार्थी (सांसारिक पदार्थों के लिए भजने वाला), आर्त (संकटनिवारण के लिए भजने वाला) जिज्ञासु (मेरे को यथार्थ रूप से जानने की इच्छा से भजने वाला) और ज्ञानी- ऐसे चार प्रकार के भक्तजन मुझको भजते हैं॥16॥
Translation
O best amongst the Bharatas, four kinds of pious people engage in my devotion—the distressed, the seekers after knowledge, the seekers of worldly possessions, and those who are situated in knowledge.
