एक दिन रोओगे चीख पुकार के,
माता पिता की अपने मूर्ति निहार के।।
सिर पे ना हाथ होगा धीरज बंधाने को,
आएगी ना मैया रोते लाल को मनाने को,
उस दिन सुहाएँगे ना,
उस दिन सुहाएँगे ना सुख संसार के,
माता पिता की अपने मूर्ति निहार के।।
कोई ना जागेगा तेरे इंतज़ार में,
रोएगा ऐसे जैसे माझी मझदार में,
सारे रिश्ते नाते होंगे,
सारे रिश्ते नाते होंगे दिन दोई चार के,
माता पिता की अपने मूर्ति निहार के।।
याद ही तो बाकी होगी जन्मदातार की,
जानेगा कौन कीमत आँसुओ के धार की,
भूल नहीं पाएगा तू,
भूल नहीं पाएगा तू दिन ये बहार के,
माता पिता की अपने मूर्ति निहार के।।
माता की ममता और पिता का सहारा,
जीवन में प्राणी तुझको मिले ना दोबारा,
योगी तू तो पीले इनके,
योगी तू तो पीले इनके चरणों को पखार के,
माता पिता की अपने मूर्ति निहार के।।
