शंकर मशान वाले,
सब देवों से अलग हो,

क्या देव और दानव क्या,
क्या यक्ष और किन्नर,
पशु पक्षी और नर क्या,
क्या भुत प्रेत और वनचर,
तेरी दया पे निर्भर,
तेरी दया पे निर्भर,
सारे जहान वाले।
हम पर भी एक नजर हों,
शंकर मशान वाले,
सब देवों से अलग हो,
और ढंग है निराले।।
हे अर्धचंद्र धारी,
शिव शम्भू पिनाकी,
डमरू तुम्हारे कर में,
वर्णन नहीं छटा की,
लिपटे गले में रहते,
हरदम है नाग काले।
हम पर भी एक नजर हों,
शंकर मशान वाले,
सब देवों से अलग हो,
और ढंग है निराले।।
तुम नर्म भी बहुत हो,
कहलाते भोले भाले,
विष पीके ज़माने को,
अमृत हो देने वाले,
लेकिन तुम्हारा गुस्सा,
टलता नहीं है टाले।
