श्याम धनी आने में, जो देर लगाओगे,
इतना समझलो हारे हुए को और हराओगे ॥
लिखा तेरे मंदिर पे, “हारे का सहारा”,
इसी नाम से है बाजे, डंका तुम्हारा,
क्या अपने नाम पे बाबा, तुम दाग लगाओगे ॥
खिंच करके नैया तेरी, चौखट पे लाया,
मांझी बनाकर तुमको, नाव में बिठाया,
तुम जिस नैया में बैठे, क्या उसे डुबाओगे ॥
नैया भवर में जिसकी, तुम्हे ढूंढ़ता है,
तेरी गली का, पता पूछता है,
क्या अपनी गली का रास्ता, तुम बंद करवाओगे ॥
ये ना समझना खाली हारे हुए है,
‘बनवारी” जबसे हारे, तुम्हारे हुए है,
मेरी लाज नहीं ये, तुम खुद की गवाओगे ॥

itanA samajhalo hAre hue ko aura harAoge ||
likhA tere maMdira pe, “hAre kA sahArA”,
isI nAma se hai bAje, DaMkA tumhArA,
kyA apane nAma pe bAbA, tuma dAga lagAoge ||
khiMcha karake naiyA terI, chaukhaTa pe lAyA,
mAMjhI banAkara tumako, nAva meM biThAyA,
tuma jisa naiyA meM baiThe, kyA use DubAoge ||
naiyA bhavara meM jisakI, tumhe DhUMDha़tA hai,
terI galI kA, patA pUChatA hai,
kyA apanI galI kA rAstA, tuma baMda karavAoge ||
ye nA samajhanA khAlI hAre hue hai,
‘banavArI” jabase hAre, tumhAre hue hai,
merI lAja nahIM ye, tuma khuda kI gavAoge ||
