यह आवाज़ लगाई,
तू ना जा मेरे रघुराई,
तू ना जा मेरे रघुराईं,
लो वन को चले हैं रघुराई,
राजा दशरथ ने।।
केकई ने कैसा वर मांगा,
टूटे हैं सपने सारे,
राजतिलक था होने वाला,
होनी को कौन है टालें,
श्राप श्रवण के माता-पिता का
आज बना है दुखदाई,
लो वन को चले हैं रघुराई,
राजा दशरथ ने।।
राम बिना मेरी सूनी अयोध्या,
कैसे अब मैं जियूँगा,
लक्ष्मण बिन मेरा दिल लगेगा,
कैसे जुदाई सहूंगा,
साथ सीता भी,
वन को चली है,
अखियां भर भर आई,
लो वन को चले हैं रघुराई,
राजा दशरथ ने।।
