सर्वत्रावस्थितो देहे तथात्मा नोपलिप्यते || 33||
yathā sarva-gataṁ saukṣhmyād ākāśhaṁ nopalipyate
sarvatrāvasthito dehe tathātmā nopalipyate

भावार्थ:
जिस प्रकार सर्वत्र व्याप्त आकाश सूक्ष्म होने के कारण लिप्त नहीं होता, वैसे ही देह में सर्वत्र स्थित आत्मा निर्गुण होने के कारण देह के गुणों से लिप्त नहीं होता॥32॥
Translation
Space holds everything within it, but being subtle, does not get contaminated by what it holds. Similarly, though its consciousness pervades the body, the soul is not affected by the attributes of the body.
