विहाय कामान्यः सर्वान्पुमांश्चरति निःस्पृहः । निर्ममो निरहंकारः स शान्तिमधिगच्छति ॥

विहाय कामान्य: सर्वान्पुमांश्चरति नि:स्पृह: |
निर्ममो निरहङ्कार: स शान्तिमधिगच्छति || 71||

vihāya kāmān yaḥ sarvān pumānśh charati niḥspṛihaḥ
nirmamo nirahankāraḥ sa śhāntim adhigachchhati

भावार्थ:

जो पुरुष सम्पूर्ण कामनाओं को त्याग कर ममतारहित, अहंकाररहित और स्पृहारहित हुआ विचरता है, वही शांति को प्राप्त होता है अर्थात वह शान्ति को प्राप्त है॥71॥

Translation

That person, who gives up all material desires and lives free from a sense of greed, proprietorship, and egoism, attains perfect peace.
