मैं हूं अकेला फिर भी तारो का क्यों रेहता पेहरा
सुधमा संग दकेह मुस्काये मन में आंसू क्यों भर लाये जरा सी बात से
कि सब सोए मैं क्यों जागूं रात में ,
अरे लक्ष्मी मेरी सगी बहन है घर घर पूजी जाती
मेरी कोई कदर नहीं है वो माता कहलाती
मुझसे धीर धरी ना जाए जरा सी बात पे
सब सोए मैं क्यों जागूं रात में
विष्णु बोले सुनो चंद्रमा बंद करो हंगामा
आज से दुनिया कहेगी तुमको चंदा मामा
कि करवाचौथ को पूजे जाओ
घर घर में खुशहाली लाओ जरा सी बात पे
सब सोए मैं क्यों जागूं रात में
तब से चंदा मामा हो गए नील गगन के वासी,
सुन्दरता भी शरमाये जब आये पुरमाशी
देते अलख को चोट करारी कसी ये यो दुनिया सारी,
