tū jihanē marjī duḥkha dē dē,
duḥkha sēhana dī āddata pē gaī hai,
mērē saiyāṃ tanu kī kahanā,
cupa rēhana dī āddata pē gaī hai,

sāṛhē cēharē utē likhiyā[ann] nē sāṛhē dila utē jō bītiyā nē,
asī bhūlanā cāhē bhuladē nahīṃ sāṛhē nāla jō jō biṭiyāṃ nē,
sāhanu mēlē ca[ann]gē lagadē nahīṃ vakha rēhana dī āddata pē gaī hai,
