जिद आपकी जनार्दन,
जिद मेरी भी निभाना,
जनता जड़द ना भूले,
मेरी भूले भूल जाना,
जहाँ लाश ना जली हो,
मेरी लाश को जलाना,
मैं बार बार मागूं,
वरदान मरते मरते,
अब मांग मांगता हूँ,
भगवान मरते मरते।।
यहां भीष्म सो भष्म भये,
इस भूमि पर मुरारी,
दुर्योधन हजार जल गये,
हे बांकुरे बिहारी,
फिर कर्ण की क्या गिनती,
बिनती है हमारी,
खाली बचा ना अब तक,
स्थान जलते जलते,
अब मांग मांगता हूँ,
भगवान मरते मरते।।
ये सामने समस्या,
देखी है जब कन्हाई,
चिंता थी एक चित में,
चिता हाथ पे बनाई,
फिर कर्ण की वो लाश,
अपने हाथ पे जलाई,
चंचल थके ना अब तक,
प्रभु गान करते करते,
अब मांग मांगता हूँ,
भगवान मरते मरते।।
