mērā sōyā nasība jagā sāiyā[ann],
mujhē dara pē apanē bhulā sāiyā[ann],
mērī lāja āja rakhanā mahārāja āja rakhanā,
mērī vinatī sunalē sāī,
mērā sōyā nasība jagā sāiyā[ann],
tērī śāna hai nirālī tū śiraḍī kā hai vālī,
kabhī jāu gā na khālī tērī thāma kē maiṃ jālī,
tērē dara pē sāī au hōṭhō pē pyāsa lāu,
mērī vinatī sunalē sāī,
mērā sōyā nasība jagā sāiyā[ann],
maiṃnē duḥkha baḍhē hai jhēlē mujhē tū śaraṇa mēṃ lēlē,
maiṃ jītā hu akēlē mujhē bāhatē nahīṃ mēlē,
mujhē śiraḍī tū bulā lē mujhē sāī tū nibhā lē,

dē amīna kō sahārā sāī maiṃ hu bēsahārā,
sāī karadē ēka iśārā,
