Perumaleeswarar Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva located at Vedal Village in Kanchipuram District of Tamilnadu. Presiding Deity is known as Perumaleeswarar. Vedal is situated at a distance of 7 km from Kanchipuram. This Vedal Village is not to be confused with another Vedal Village in Cheyyur Taluk. Mahavishnu had worshipped Shiva of this temple and thus it got the name Perumaleeswarar.
