जल बिन मछली तड़पे जइया,
बइया तड़पुं सांवरा,
क्यों रूस्या हो मुख से बोलो,
पूछे थारा टाबरा,
बाबुल के होता सोता,
क्यों जिव यो घबरावे है,
सारी सारी राता जागु,
नींद कोन्या आवे रे।।
या तू बुलाले खाटू म्हाने,
या तू खुद आजा रे,
श्याम कहवे श्वेता के सर,
एक बार हाथ फिरा जा रे,
खुद की गलती याद कर,
