Uthira Vaidhyalingeswarar Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva located at Kattur in Kanchipuram District of Tamilnadu. This is an ancient temple renovated recently. Lord Shiva is known as Vaidhyanathar or Vaidya Lingeswarar. The Ambal name is Thaiyal Nayaki and Shiva linga is considered to be installed by Sage Agasthiyar.
The temple is considered equivalent to Vaitheeswaran koil and so is being called Uthra Vaitheeswaran koil. This Temple is a Parihara sthalam for Chevvai. There is a temple pond called Agasthiyar pond located in the Temple. There are shrines for Vinayagar, Balamurugan, Adhi Lakshmi, Navagrahas and Bairavar.
